Privacy Notice

Effective date: July 31, 2026

This notice explains how Enger Studio LLC handles information collected through the marketing website at engerstudio.io (including launch-notification forms and ordinary site analytics). It applies only to this website. It does not apply to Enger Studio iOS apps installed from the App Store—those are covered by each app’s own privacy policy (for example, Whileaway Privacy). I am Paul Enger, and I build and run Enger Studio myself. In this notice, “I,” “me,” and “my” refer to Enger Studio LLC.

1. Information I collect

If you ask to be notified about an app launch, I collect the email address you provide. I also keep a limited record of when and where you signed up, the update you requested, and the version of the signup notice shown to you.

When you submit the form, Resend initially stores your address as unsubscribed so I can send a confirmation link. Your address is added to the active launch list only after you use that link.

The site’s hosting and security providers may process limited technical information, such as your IP address, browser information, requested pages, and request times, in ordinary server logs.

2. Website analytics (engerstudio.io only)

To understand how the marketing site is used, engerstudio.io uses Google Analytics 4 (a Google service). This is lightweight traffic measurement for the website only—for example, that someone visited a page, which pages were viewed, roughly when, how they arrived (such as a search result or a link), and high-level technical details like general location (e.g. country or region), device category, browser, and operating system.

I use this information to see overall visit patterns, which pages get attention, and whether the site is working as intended. I do not use website analytics to build advertising profiles, show you ads, sell data, or identify you by name. Analytics is not tied to your launch-list email unless you happen to visit the site and separately submit a form; those are separate purposes.

Apps are not included. Enger Studio iOS apps (including Whileaway, and apps still in development) do not include Google Analytics, the Google tag, or other third-party analytics SDKs. Opening an app on your phone does not send usage analytics to Google through Enger Studio. If an app ever adds analytics, that will be described in that app’s privacy policy—not only on this page.

Google may process analytics data under its own terms and privacy policy as a service provider. See Google’s Privacy Policy and Google Analytics data practices. You can also use browser controls, privacy settings, or Google’s available opt-out tools where offered to limit analytics cookies or similar storage.

3. How I use information

I use your email address only to provide the specific notification described beside the form. Each app’s list is for that app’s launch announcement and related confirmation, not a general newsletter. I use limited technical information and website analytics to operate, secure, and understand traffic on the website.

I do not sell or rent personal information, use it for targeted advertising, or add you to unrelated mailing lists.

4. Service providers

I use Resend to store the launch list and deliver email, Vercel to host and secure the website, and Google for website analytics (Google Analytics 4 on engerstudio.io only) and typefaces (Google Fonts). These providers may process information on my behalf or under their own privacy terms as needed to provide their services.

Information may be processed in the United States or other places where these providers operate.

5. Retention

I keep a confirmed launch-list address while it is needed to send the requested notification. You may unsubscribe sooner at any time. After you unsubscribe, I may retain a minimal suppression record so I can respect your request and avoid contacting you again. Operational logs are retained according to the hosting provider’s ordinary schedules. Website analytics data is retained according to the settings I configure in Google Analytics and Google’s ordinary retention practices for that product.

6. Your choices and rights

Every launch email includes an unsubscribe option. You may also ask me to access, correct, or delete information associated with your email address by contacting support@engerstudio.io. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights. I will respond to verified requests as required by applicable law.

7. Children’s privacy

The website’s email signup is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. I do not knowingly collect an email address from a child under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact me and I will address it.

8. Security

I use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the limited information collected. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Changes to this notice

I may update this notice as the website or its services change. The effective date above will show when it was last materially updated. If a change would meaningfully broaden how an existing launch-list address is used, I will request new permission rather than relying on the earlier, narrower signup.
